About the Founder

Two decades in the making, MUNI SOUND was born out of Jett Galindo’s lifelong passion for all facets of choral music. A native of the Philippines, raised in a family of contemporary musicians and eventually becoming a touring choral soprano and audio engineer, Jett has always lived with this unique duality: immersed in both pop and classical music throughout her life and career.

As an award-winning mastering engineer, Jett has built a long-term career mastering music for a wide range of genres—from Elvis Costello and Barbra Streisand all the way to the new “Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora” video game soundtrack, to name a few. Throughout her mastering career, Jett’s passion for choral music endured, constantly collaborating with renowned choral ensembles and composers to release albums throughout the years. However, recognizing the persistent lack of international choral music across all streaming platforms, Jett knew there was more work needed to be done to truly capture the rich, vibrant world of choral music in the global stage. Thus, MUNI SOUND was born.
